"It´ll go straight to your thighs… and then you’ll blow up.” Haha I love Spongebob. All me and Elder Burnham do is quote Spongebob hahaha.
This week was so………………. AWESOME. SO STINKIN AWESOME. At first I was like “this week is gonna be a rough one” but then, it just was great. This sounds so weird, but I am so glad I am in the office. I am so glad and thankful I am surrounded by greatness with these Elders here. They sure help me. Want to know what else helps me? MAMA MCMULLIN'S PACKAGES! LOVE YOU MAMA M! I freaked out when I saw the fruit roll up….. When I grow up I want a room full of fruit roll-ups. Love you guys! And why yes we are going to Mexico….!! AND THEN MY MOTHER HEART ATTACKED ME! THANK YOU VALENTINE MOTHER!! AND YES, YES I WILL BE YOUR VALENTINE. ANDDDD BRIGGY BABE! MY MAIN MAN IS THE NEW ASSISTANT!! I AM SO PROUD OF HIM! I'M SO GLAD HE IS AN ASSISTANT! BE CRAZY AND WORK HARD.
BUTTTT man alive we had some pretty crazy miracles. One of them is this…on Wednesday we went to these apartments that we have always wanted to contact and so we finally made time to go and of course the very last door we knock on has some chosen people from the Lord! There are 3 sisters and they are sooo awesome. They all were so excited to go to church but one of them can´t because she goes to school Sunday but the others were like “of COURSE we are going!” and that never happens! And THEN we came back on Friday and boom shaka laka. The Hermana named Emelina (she is 28) told us she read the part in the Book of Mormon of Moroni Chp. 10 and she kept reading it because it didn´t make sense to her at first and then she kept reading, and she understood, and then she read the L1 pamphlet and prayed and felt peace! We were just like, wow, because for me that was the first time that someone has accepted the invitation and when she didn’t understand, she kept reading and looked for more information in a different resource (the pamphlet) and it was pretty cool. Not gonna lie. THEN her, Evelyn and their friend from Marcala which is 3 hours away from Teguc came to church! AND THEY LOVED IT!! So basically they are great. And the Lord once again just keeps blessing and humbling us. Kinda bummer news is that Jeancarlo isn´t getting baptized this week because his dad took him for the weekend so he has to wait till the 12th. BUT we will have 2 baptisms that day!:) There was a ton I had to say but don´t remember anything.
Cool thing I was thinking about is that the Lord commanded us to love right? But he didn´t tell us HOW to love. Because everyone is different and everyone loves in a different way. I really liked that thought. WELLLLL, I don't know, life is good. Keep on keepin´ on!
Quote from Pres Monson on Feb 26 in the little calendar book. "Doing what´s right is the easiest thing to judge of all. Whenever you´re about to do something and that little voice in your head stops you and asks the question, "Should I?" the chances are you shouldn´t. We all have a conscience, and it´s there for a purpose. We should always be guided by it, rather than running from it."
This week I am thankful for my fam, fruit roll-ups, a compu, for the 3 hermanas we found (Evelyn, Emelina, and Karina)!!, for tender mercies, for peace in my heart, for the Chiropractor and that finally my back is getting sooo much better, for emails, for my fam, for photos, for the plan of Salvation, for my Savior Jesus Christ, for the Book of Mormon and the strength and power it gives me, for my comp, for my son Elder Garcia, and for all the people I have met in Honduras! I love this Gospel.
