JOY

Wow. Honestly don't know what to say this week! Lets just say I am filled with joy. We had the opportunity to baptize 2 members of familia Smith this week. B** Smith and S** Smith. It was amazing. Just... I cant put into words how glorious it is to be an instrument in the Lord´s hands to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man so they are able to live with their families for eternity and take that step of entering into the kingdom of heaven. Just joy. All it is is joy. We visited them on Wednesday and we asked them how they were and how these visits and learning about the Gospel has helped them, and they shared with us just the love and care they have felt from us and from the ward and the Spirit there was one of the most strongest times I have felt the Spirit like that. It was incredible. Right then and there I KNEW I promised them I would find and teach them the Gospel. They have such a strong testimony and just.. there's just nothing I can say! haha! THE GOSPEL IS SO AMAZING! If we could all just realize, including myself, that if we give the Lord our heart, our mind, our strength, He really will make our lives into something we can´t even imagine! And it´s hard! Every day is hard to make the right choice, whether we want to follow the Savior or the contrary. It´s difficult. But through prayer, patience, diligence, and study of the word of God, we can do it! We can endure to the end! I love that I have learned that there is an adversary. And he is powerful. Extremely powerful. And guess what? Our God is even more powerful. He will help us overcome anything through His Only Begotten Son. Whatever cross you carry, whatever you are struggling with, know that Christ has atoned and suffered for that. Lean on Him. He did it for US. Because He loves us. I challenge all to come unto Christ this week through Faith in Him and His Atonement, through repentence, real and sincere, to be baptized by someone that has the proper authority from God and if youve been baptized then remember the Sacrament, through receiving the Holy Ghost, and finally, by enduring to the end. Just every day. Have that faith and courage to keep going. I would and could do anything for this familia Smith and to see the joy in their eyes and lives that comes from the Gospel is a tender mercy of the Lord. I love my Lord and My Savior and I am eternally grateful for Him and what he went through for me. HURRAH FOR ISRAEL!!!!

Also heard that NBA starts on wednesday... thats a killer for me. haha.

Thankful for Jesus the Christ by James e Talmage, personal study, sleep, F. Smith., your prayers for me and familia Smith and all the other investigadores, your words of encouragement, El Libro de Mormon, letters, my district, my companion, weekly planning session, and HONDURAS!

THIS IS THE WEEK BABAYAYYAYYAYAY!!

OK FIRST OFF I WANNA WISH EVERYONE A HAPPY BDAY FOR OCTOBER! ESPECIALLY A SHOUTOUT TO THE BEST ATHLETE IN THE JOHNSON FAMILY LUKE JOHNSON FOR A BDAY TOMORROW! I also screamed out Feliz CumpleaƱos when it was Cart's b-day in the middle of the day! haha

OK BUT FAMILIA SMITH IS BEING BAPTIZED THIS WEEK!! HERMANA V!! AHHHHHH!! THERE IS NO JOY LIKE THIS IN THE WORLD TO THINK ABOUT A BAPTISM!! THIS WEEK WAS SO HARD SO AMAZING AND SO FUN. ABSOLUTE PURE JOY. Look up the scripture Mosiah 28:3. That's how I feel. And we have dates for other investegators! Ahhhhh!!

Um also I have tons of pics but it wont let me send. But Spanish is coming so fast, and this week is the 3 month mark! Weird!

Brigham.. man do I love that kid. So proud of him and someone get me his info please! haha.

Also heard country music for the first time blasting out of a car and I freaked.

IM STARTING A BALLIADA STORE WHEN I GET HOME BECAUSE THEY ARE THE MOST DELICIOUS FOOD IN THE ENTIRE WORLD.

Cool thought of the week. Jesus Christ when he was on the earth didn't baptize a single person. Soley He taught. But His apostles after baptized thousands upon thousands. ALWAYS remember that if you are being diligent and serving the LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART MIGHT MIND AND STRENGTH and you feel like you haven't accomplished anything, know that actually you have. You have done all that the Father has asked.

LOVE YOU GUYS AND PRAY FOR FAMILIA SMITH THIS WEEK!!!

I'm thankful for Elder Angulo, interchanges, new district, new zona, todas mi bendiciones, that I can understand A LOT of Spanish in only 12 weeks, food, A BAPTISM THIS WEEK! THE SPIRIT, and fasting!

It's been raining non stop!

He got this shirt for ONE dollar!

Earthquake...

From mission blog

"Dear Parents and Friends,Yesterday we had an earthquake of 7.4 degrees here in Honduras and a great part of Central America, it was very strong in all of the country but all of the missionaries are fine. There Were not any damages of materials or houses in all of the country nor deaths. This is for your information."

Pictures...

Elder Johnson did not send a group letter this week, he wanted to spend some time writing his family and especially his Brother and Grandpa because they have birthday's on Wednesday. He sent a couple pictures and then his mission blog had some pictures of his zone at an activity day they were given, because of the baptisms they performed this month.

Life Changing Week

OKKKKK! What a life changing week. Just gonna share a couple things and keep it real brief today. 1st. I had a really cool spiritual impression this week. I feel like the 6 weeks and then these 12 weeks in training FOR ME are kinda like Christ in his life until he started his ministry which was 30 right? He listened. He prepared. He still taught but not like he did when he called The Apostales. Thats how I feel right now. I'm still teaching, still doing my best. MY ABSOLUTE BEST EVERY SINGLE DAY. But right now im learning.. and watching. And for me thats really hard because I just want to say all this stuff BUT I am being humbled in ways that I never could have without the mission. Ok 2nd, I have realized the importance of keeping commitments and that is one of my biggest goals for my mission. To ALWAYS remember the importance of keeping commitments. Because before da miss I felt like I wasn't good at that. And I'm still terrible but now I'm beginning to understand the value and importance of keeping commitments. 3rd. A man who was definitely an anti-christ was talking with us, and he was saying stuff we didnt like about Our Savior. And sooo we bore testimony with all depth of our soul of The Savior of the world and although he called us hermanos diablos as we were leaving, it made me so fired and pumped up to know that Christ walks with us and I have the privilege and honor of bearing sacred testimony of Him. So amazing.

Also, conference was so good. Only saw Sunday and Morning Saturday because we couldnt go to sacerdocio because idk.. a regla I guess? But so amazing. THOSE ARE PROPHETS AND APOSTLES OF GOD and I bear witness of that. I cant even describe the love I have for those men.

My bite is all healed! No worries! Not much time!

Thankful for being able to speak in spanish, thankful for familia Smith, F. Flores, great food, Josue, pacienca, y todos cosas! love you all!
